TREAD CAREFULLY THIS WINTER
Every millimeter counts when it comes to your safety.
The legal minimum tread depth in Europe is 1.6mm. However, experts agree: when tread depth is under 4mm, its suitability for use in winter conditions are considerably reduced. This means that in cold weather conditions, there is an increased risk of accidents if your tyres are worn. The lower your tread depth, the greater your braking distance. At the start of every winter, check your winter tyres and speak to one of our team at your local Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT or Honda centre for further details.

Be ready - no matter what winter has in store.
Whilst the first snowfall of the year usually causes a buzz of excitement, its effect on our roads can be treacherous. For your car, winter begins at just 7°C and fitting winter tyres can significantly reduce the risk of having an accident. Thanks to excellent braking performance, snow traction and particularly high mileage, with winter tyres from the Gilder Group you will be ready - no matter what the weather throws at you this winter.
There is a risk of snow falling at 0°C
Your safety could be at risk at 7°C
When the outside temperature falls below 7°C, the tread compound in standard tyres begins to harden and loses grip. Winter tyres remain flexible and grippy even at low temperatures thanks to a higher proportion of natural rubber. Make sure you are prepared this winter: fit winter tyres from the Gilder Group for extra safety and performance.

The braking distance for a vehicle depends on the age of the vehicle, the brakes and tyres used, as well as the surface on which the vehicle is travelling.
